Retransfer Printing Method vs. Direct Printing Method

Our printers use either of the following two printing methods depending on the application.

Direct Printing Method

Direct Printing Method

  • Printing is carried out by the thermal print head directly on the card surface.
  • Colors are vibrant and running costs are low.
Retransfer Printing Method

  • Images can be printed clearly without white borders (full-size borderless printing).
  • Supports printing on IC cards and many other types of cards.

This printer is equipped with a large capacity cassette that has a lid and is removable. This feature allows you to continuously print a large number of cards without frequent refilling of the cassette.

Automatic Two-Sided Printing Supported (IX-R7000, PR-C151)

If the reverse side of cards has information and you need to print it, that side can be printed automatically using the ink ribbons for that purpose.
